The Yolo County Fair will present its eighth annual Opening Night Gala, showcasing the county’s agricultural projects and produce, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, in the Agriculture Building of the Yolo County Fair Grounds.
The Gala will feature local wines, olive oils, honey, nuts, jams, meats, produce and restaurant fare, as well as performances by some of the best local musicians. Attendees will sample the best of local harvests and products, see displays of some of the great work and craftsmanship our friends, neighbors and students produced this year, and enjoy the evening amidst the backdrop of the fair. This year, secret judges will be roaming around the event, and will nominate some Fan Favorites. Winners will receive free advertisement on the Fair’s big electronic sign.
This event sells out quickly, so get tickets at the Yolo County Fair office for $15. Admission is $20 at the gate.
