UC Davis Arboretum docents and students will lead a free public tour of the Native American Contemplative GATEways Garden from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3. The group will meet in front of the Alumni & Visitors Center on campus.

On Sunday, Nov. 4, the Arboretum Ambassadors will host a Family Nature Program, “Storytime Through the Seasons,” from 1 to 3 p.m. on the Wyatt Deck. (In the event of rain, the program will move indoors to 146 Environmental Horticulture.)

The free outdoor reading program will explore the cultural world of native Californians, including traditional stories, games and arts. All ages are welcome. Parking at UCD is free on weekends.

The weekend events are in collaboration with the UCD Cross-Cultural Center, which is celebrating Native American Culture Days on campus Nov. 5-9. For more information, call 530-752-4880 or visit arboretum.ucdavis.edu.
