Traffic delays expected in Knights Landing

By
From page A3 | April 06, 2014 |

Caltrans is advising motorists to allow additional travel when driving on Highway 113 through the Knights Landing area on Monday.

Caltrans crews are scheduled to raise the Knights Landing drawbridge over the Sacramento River up to three times between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday to perform an annual inspection of the structure. Motorists can expect delays of no longer than 20 minutes during each inspection. Traffic will be held at the Yolo and Sutter counties approaches to the bridge.

Roadside message boards will provide motorists with the latest information. Unexpected weather or other events may prolong or cause the work to be rescheduled. Caltrans also will issue updates on Twitter @D3PIO and on Facebook at CaltransDistrict 3.
