Training set for new Arboretum volunteers

By From page A3 | December 28, 2012

Local residents are invited to spend more time in the UC Davis Arboretum in 2013, learn new skills and give back to the community by joining one of the Arboretum’s volunteer teams.

Volunteers are needed in gardening, nursery propagation, nursery caretaking and plant curation. New volunteers must sign up in advance and complete a half-day general orientation class on Saturday, Jan. 12, from 9 a.m. to noon.

For more information or to sign up for the orientation, contact Roxanne Reynolds at 530-752-4880 or [email protected] or visit arboretum.ucdavis.edu/training.aspx.
