Travel photography is focus of meeting

By From page A4 | September 05, 2014

The Davis Photography Club will hear Rob Floerke present “Travel Photography with Rob: Creating a Sense of Place” at its next meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9. The meeting will be in the Blanchard Room at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.

Floerke will talk about key steps to take to make a photo look good, regardless of subject. He also will discuss what can be done to make your travel photos interesting.

“Travel photos must try to express your experience of being there,” he says. “The images should capture the viewer’s attention and give them a sense of where the photograph was taken. A good travel photograph should express a sense of place.”
