Here’s your chance to give Zumba fitness classes a try: Two options are available to West Davis residents. The fitness classes combine upbeat international and popular music with fun dance moves.

Stonegate Country Club’s fall session begins Monday and continues through Nov. 21. Classes will be offered from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays at the club, 919 Lake Blvd.

The cost for the 17 classes (twice a week) is $64 for Stonegate members and $68 for nonmembers. The cost for nine classes (once a week) is $32 for members and $36 for nonmembers. A drop-in fee is $5 for each class. There is no class on Nov. 11.

Davis Adult & Community Education also sponsors a fun and easy Zumba class in West Davis. Classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 24, and meet from 5:15 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays in the Indoor Commons at Emerson Junior High School, 2121 Calaveras Ave.

The cost for the 10-week session is $40 and pre-registration and payment are required. For online registration, visit http://dace.djusd.net and follow the link.

Both Zumba sessions are taught by certified instructor Meera Klein.
