UCD symposium examines ‘The Grapes of Wrath’

A symposium to explore John Steinbeck’s “The Grapes of Wrath” as well as the larger social, cultural and historical issues it raises is planned for Friday, March 7, at UC Davis’ Wright Hall. The symposium will run from 10:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.; admission is free.

Participating UCD scholars include Sasha Abramsky, author of “The American Way of Poverty: How the Other Half Still Lives,” selected as one of the New York Times 100 Most Notable Books of 2013.
