Video, discussion will explore ‘village’ movement

By
From page A4 | June 15, 2014 |

Continuing the exploration of aging-in-place and the “village” movement, Renee Dryfoos will show a recorded interview with the director of Avenidas Village of Palo Alto at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St.

A “village” is an organization built to helpĀ senior citizens remain in their own homes and to have greater access to services (paid and volunteered), and to social opportunities.

All are welcome, and a special invitation is given to anyone who is interested in participating in the development of a task force to explore the possibility of forming a Yolo County “village” organization.
