Watch Citrus Circuits compete this weekend

The Citrus Circuits robotics team will compete in the Inland Empire Regional for the first time ever this weekend and encourages fans to watch the action via live streaming on the team’s website.

The competition takes place Friday through Sunday at Grand Terrace High School in Grand Terrace, in San Bernardino County.

This year’s FIRST Robotics competition features robots throwing balls into goals several meters above the field. Extra points will be earned when robots pass to fellow alliance members and throw balls over a large truss in the center of the playing field.

For those who cannot attend the competition but would like to watch, the competition will be shown live at http://citruscircuits.org/live.

Citrus Circuits, the Davis school district’s robotics team, is attending this regional competition for the first time and thanks all of the organizations and companies that have funded the competition, including the Regional Access Project Foundation, SMART Education and the Southern California Branch of Edison International, as well as Best Buy and Wells Fargo Bank.
