Wellness forum planned at I-House

Community members are invited to a free wellness forum on Thursday, Feb. 20, sponsored by Woodland Healthcare/Dignity Health and International House.

A reception will begin the evening at 6 p.m. Pharmacist Rami Saad of Rite-Aid will be on hand to give flu shots and describe the efficacy of the shots.

At 6:30 p.m., doctors from Woodland Healthcare will discuss different aspects of surviving cancer: Dr. Sonia Reichert, the newest oncology doctor, will be on hand to answer questions; Dr. Alborz Alali will talk about fatigue and exercise; physician assistant Michelle Ing will talk about stress relief; and Jennifer Thietz will talk about the role of nurse navigators.
