By From page A4 | May 09, 2013

The Davis Food Co-op will host wine- and beer-tastings in May and June to benefit the Organic Farming Research Foundation. The tasting Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. will be “Moms Love Champagne, Ciders and Breakfast Beers.” The cost is $1 per taste.

The Organic Farming Research Foundation has a clear vision to make organic farming the leading form of agriculture in America. The foundation cultivates organic research, education and federal policy that brings more farmers and acreage into organic production.

The Davis Food Co-op, 620 G St., is a full-line, member-owned supermarket specializing in natural, organic and minimally processed foods. For more information, contact Julie Cross at [email protected] or 530-758-2667.
