By From page A8 | October 12, 2012

Mojo’s Kitchen 428 will host a Harvest Winefest to benefit the Woodland Schools Foundation from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, on Mojo’s balcony and patio, 428 First St. in Woodland. This event will feature wine tasting and heavy appetizers for a $25 admission charge. Tickets are available at Kitchen 428; National Town and Valley Properties, 296 W. Main St.; and on the web at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/280210.

All proceeds will benefit the Woodland Schools Foundation, a nonprofit organization formed by parents to provide financial support to public school students and teachers. In the past two years, WSF has raised more than $60,000 to support the GATE program, extra-duty stipends for coaches and noon-duty positions at Woodland elementary schools.
