Work on power poles prompts rural lane closures

Due to PG&E construction, lane closures are planned from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday on County Roads 98 and 27, northeast of Davis.

This project will energize 52 recently constructed power poles on the east side of County Road 98 from 1,400 feet south of County Road 29 to 1,400 feet south of County Road 27.

Closures will occur at the following locations:

* Road 98 from Roads 27 to 29; and

* Road 27 from Road 98 to 500 feet east of Road 98.

Motorists can expect up to 20-minute delays, or more depending on traffic. Access to all properties along County Roads 27, 29 and 98 will be provided at all times, a county spokeswoman said.
