By From page A3 | April 16, 2013

The city of Davis Human Relations Commission is planning a workshop on Saturday, April 27, as a second follow-up to the original forum on Breaking the Silence of Racism, which took place Dec. 1. The workshop will run from 10 a.m. to noon at International House, 10 College Park in Daivs.

The purpose is to continue discussions to examine the issues surrounding racism in Davis and to develop action plans. This is intended to be an open discussion to look for solutions or actions for addressing the issues raised at the Dec. 1 forum.

“Any member of the public, whether or not you have participated in the past discussions, is invited to join in the conversation on the 27th,” a city news release said.
