Yolo Audubon to hold Junior Bird Count on Sunday

The third annual Yolo Audubon Society Junior Bird Count will be held at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 20. Children aged 8-15 years with an interest in bird watching — no previous knowledge required — are invited to participate. Parents and other volunteers will provide transportation drivers.

Participants will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area Headquarters, 45211 Chiles Road in South Davis. Participants should bring snacks, layered clothing, binoculars and field guides if you have them and a pencil.
