From page A4 | March 09, 2014 |

Yolo Hospice offers free, drop-in, support groups that are continuously available. These groups, led by a qualified facilitator, are available to anyone experiencing grief and provide support through mutual understanding and education.

“Take part at a level of participation that is comfortable for you, attending as often as you would like,” a news release said.

The groups are free to attend and requires no registration.

The adult drop-in support group meets every Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Another drop-in group, for young adults (ages 18-25) meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

A “Journaling Through Grief” support group gathers on the first Tuesday of each month from 4 to 6 p.m., and a pet-loss drop-in support group is held on the first Monday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m.

All meetings are at the Yolo Hospice offices, 1909 Galileo Court, Suite A, in South Davis. For more information, call Yolo Hospice Bereavement Services at 530-601-5756.
