All seven Yolo County branch libraries will be closed July 4 to celebrate Independence Day. All branches also will be closed Monday, July 11, so staff may attend systemwide training.
In Davis, the library branches are the Stephens Branch at 315 E. 14th St. and the Montgomery Elementary School satellite branch, at 1441 Danbury St. in South Davis. The library system also has branches in Winters, West Sacramento, Clarksburg, Esparto, Knights Landing and Yolo.
“Our staff training days are necessary to help keep our library current and up-do-date on events that affect public libraries and our communities,” said Yolo County Librarian Patty Wong. “Fortunately, many library services are available 24/7 via the Internet. Residents can always access services such as the library catalog with the ability to place holds or renew materials, and can find information in our many databases, including the YoloLINK database of community services, all online.”
