Youth in Government applications due Friday

Davis High School juniors and seniors are invited to apply for the Davis Youth in Government program, which will allow them to learn the roles of the City Council, city staff, Board of Education and more. Students will spend Tuesday, March 19, shadowing city and school district officials and staff and will participate in a mock City Council meeting on Thursday, March 21. The meeting will be televised on Cable Channel 16.

Applications are available at https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B63E-s33MVUINTlkOHRNZzR4R28/edit?usp=sharing.

Applications must be returned to the Davis High front office by 3:30 p.m. Friday. Students will be notified of shadow placements on March 5 and are required to attend a mandatory orientation meeting during lunch on March 6.
