British luxury cars stop in Davis

By From page A1 | February 13, 2013

Luxury came to Davis on Tuesday morning, in the form of several brand-new Bentley convertibles on their way from San Francisco to a car show in Las Vegas. The drivers stopped at Common Grounds coffee shop in South Davis for a break on their trip, which is designed to create buzz about the new cars and provide photo opportunities for ads and promotional material. Among the onlookers were UC Davis professor emeritus Don Margolis, who leads the Hyundai Center for Excellence in Vehicle Dynamic Systems and Control at UCD, and some of his students.
