Buy a bra, support breast health

By From page A4 | October 10, 2012

FIT House will honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month in a uniquely supportive way on Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Along with Fleet Feet Sports employees, the staff at FIT House Training Studio will offer personalized bra fittings of the sports bra Moving Comfort. The event will take place at FIT House, 630 Peña Drive, Suite 500.

At 7 p.m., guests can take the bra for a “test drive” during a free interval workout led by certified FIT House instructors. Those who like the bra may purchase it at a 20 percent discount from Fleet Feet, with a percentage of every sale donated to Project Pink, a national nonprofit offering help and hope to women with breast cancer, co-founded by Davis resident Ann Murray Paige.

Additionally, FIT House will offer information on breast health and reducing breast cancer and Paige will be on hand to talk about her journey through breast cancer and how fitness has helped her fight back.

Call Fleet Feet at 530-758-6453 to make an appointment for the event and receive a gift from Moving Comfort.
