The Yolo County Cabrillo Civic Club’s 46th annual Membership Dinner is planned for Saturday, April 14, at the Holy Rosary Community Center, 575 California St. in Woodland. The theme is “Celebrating the Azores,” honoring the islands from which many members’ families emigrated.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for a 6 p.m. no-host reception and a chance to bid on a selection of silent auction items. Dinner will include sopas a carne, green salad, potato salad, bread, cabbage and desserts. A raffle of member-donated prizes will follow dinner.

Proceeds from the silent auction and raffle will benefit the scholarship fund to help high school seniors of the region.

Dinner tickets are $15 general, $10 for juniors ages 12-17 and free for paid members. For reservations, call Elizabeth Kemper at (530) 666-4059 or Betty Cadwallader at (530) 666-4059.
