Trooper is a very people-friendly neutered male 1-year-old German shepherd whose tail never stops wagging! He loves kids and plays well with female dogs. Jangles is a picture-perfect, 6-month-old neutered male dachshund/Chihuahua puppy. Jangles loves to play with everything and everybody and is full of wags and kisses. Come and meet the many dogs that will be available for adoption from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday through Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland. The resort is between County Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. All of the dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on their shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or leave a message at 530-661-0213. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times. Courtesy photos
