Hobo is a gentle yet playful neutered male 8-year-old border collie mix whose tail never stops wagging. He loves kids, plays well with other dogs and would make a perfect family pet. Lucy (pictured) and Mina are 12-week-old female Rottweiler mix puppies. Both love to play with everything and everybody and are full of puppy fun. Come and meet the many dogs that will be available for adoption through Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland. The resort is between County Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. All of the dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on their shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or leave a message at 530-661-0213. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times.
