Giggles, Cheerie and Jolly, left to right, are 10-week-old female terrier/dachshund puppies who already have started their puppy shots and are sweet bundles of fun. ┬áDarth, a 1-year-old neutered male purebred German shepherd, is a friendly, smart boy who love walks and would make great family pet. They and many other dogs are available for adoption from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday through Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland. The resort is between Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. All of the dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on their shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or leave a message at 530-661-0213. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times.
