Augie is a friendly 1-year-old chocolate and white neutered male Manchester terrier mix. He’s happiest in someone’s lap and is perfect with other dogs. Jackie, a 2-year-old Queensland heeler mix, is blind but has a heart of gold. She grew up in a family and is great with people and other dogs. Both dogs would make great family pets; they and many others are available for adoption from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday through Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29. The resort is between Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport.¬†All dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on their shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or leave a message at 530-661-0213. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times.
