Hoss is a 9- to 10-month-old neutered male German shepherd/Rottweiler cross who is a manageable size — not too big and not too small. He is a happy dog who gets along well with everyone and plays well with female dogs. Charlotte is a 5-year-old spayed female purebred beagle. She is extremely good-natured and plays well with all dogs and people of all ages. Charlotte would make a perfect first dog as she is used to being handled and will let you carry her around. They and many other dogs will be available for adoption from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday through Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue. The venue is the 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland, between Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. To see some of the dogs available for adoption, visit www.RottsOfFriends.com. All available dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326.
