Homer is a mostly black 3 1/2-year-old neutered male German shepherd. He is a real sweetheart who loves everyone, including other dogs. Homer is smart, eager to learn and has a tail that never stops wagging. Stilt is a super-sweet 4-year-old neutered male border collie mix. He has a gentle nature but is full of fun, plays well with other dogs and loves people of all ages. Stilt is currently undergoing obedience training and is the star of his class. Meet them and many dogs looking for homes during Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue’s adoption event from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland. The venue is between County Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. All available dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or visit www.RottsOfFriends.com.
