Monkey is a tiny little guy — less than 5 pounds. He's a 1- to 2-year-old neutered male Brussels Griffon mix. The Brussels Griffon is known as a very affectionate breed, and Monkey is no exception. Monkey is a tiny little guy — less than 5 pounds. He’s a 1- to 2-year-old neutered male Brussels Griffon mix. The Brussels Griffon is known as a very affectionate breed, and Monkey is no exception. He is a sweet and cheerful boy who loves to play with other dogs and snuggle up with his human friends. Gordie is a very friendly and gentle 6- to 7-year-old neutered male hound/Rottweiler cross who loves long walks and hanging out with the volunteers. He is a good-natured dog and will make a loving family companion. Meet them and many other dogs looking for homes during Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue’s adoption event from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland. The venue is between County Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. All available dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or visit www.RottsOfFriends.com.
