Pilot is a movie star-handsome, black-and-tan, 3-year-old neutered male purebred German shepherd. Pilot is a big, strong, athletic dog. He’s very friendly but because of his size and energy, he’d probably do best in a home with adults or older children. Yodel is an adorable 1- to 1 1/2-year-old neutered male terrier/Chihuahua cross. He is a good-natured little guy who loves to play with other dogs and gets along well with people of all ages. He was dropped off with his two brothers, Yip and Yap. Come meet these two and some of the 55 dogs available for adoption through Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The venue is the 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland, between Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. All dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, visit RottsOfFriends.com or call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or leave a message at 530-661-0213. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times.
