Loy is as cute as can be even when he’s having a bad hair day! Loy is a 1-year-old neutered male Yorkshire terrier cross. He loves people of all ages and is happiest when he’s with his human buddies. Loy will be a dog park favorite as he plays very well with other dogs. Bailey is a 10-month-old spayed female purebred black German shepherd. She loves to play in water, is smart and is eager to please. She is very people-friendly and would make a great jogging or hiking partner. Come meet Loy, Bailey and some of the other 55 dogs looking for homes during Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue’s adoption event from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The event will be at 29 Palms Pet Resort, 34505 County Road 29 in Woodland, between Roads 94 and 95, a half-mile west of the Yolo County Airport. All dogs are spayed or neutered, healthy, microchipped, current on shots and come with free lifetime obedience training classes. For more information, call Renee Lancaster at 530-681-1326 or visit RottsOfFriends.com. If Saturday doesn’t work for you, appointments are available for other days and times.
