Celebrity Bartender event benefits SADVC

By From page A4 | September 27, 2013

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and to kick it off, the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Center has been chosen as the beneficiary of Mojo’s Lounge and Bar’s Celebrity Bartender event on Tuesday.

Anna Del Castillo, bartender/owner of Bella Bartending and president of the SADVC board, will pour drinks for a cause from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. SADVC will benefit from sales at Mojo’s Lounge and Kitchen428 Restaurant, 428 First St. in Woodland.

Additional funds will be raised throughout October through Mojo’s October Cocktail for the Cause. Half of the total sales from that drink for the entire month will go to SADVC, which provides emergency shelter and assistance to women and children.

For more information, call 530-662-1133 or  visit www.sadvc.org.
