Choreographer Ron Cunningham’s “Cinderella” — which hasn’t been performed locally by the Sacramento Ballet since 1997 — returns to the stage this week with five performances at the Sacramento Community Center Theater, 1301 L St. in Sacramento. Cunningham’s “Cinderella” has been seen in multiple cities around the world, and was the first American ballet to be performed in the People’s Republic of China. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., plus 2 p.m. matinees Saturday and Sunday. Cunningham will give an informal talk from the stage 45 minutes before each performance. Tickets range from $14 to $65 and are available at www.tickets.com or www.sacballet.org, (916) 808-5181 or (916) 552-5800, ext. 2.
