The city of Davis is accepting applications from local residents who are interested in serving on the Natural Resources Commission.

The commission meets at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month at City Hall, 23 Russell Blvd. Its members promote the preservation, management and enhancement of the city’s natural resources, and recommend policies and guidelines regarding air quality in the Yolo-Solano-Sacramento region, water conservation, waste management and recycling.

Applications may be picked up at the city clerk’s office at City Hall, 23 Russell Blvd., between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, or downloaded at http://city-managers-office.cityofdavis.org/city- clerk/apply-to-serve-on-a-city-commission.

Applications and accompanying documents are considered public information and may be released pursuant to the California Public Records Act. Applications are due Feb. 25 and the City Council is expected to make appointments on March 5.
