The Davis City Council invites the community to a ceremony honoring the 2012 recipients of the sixth annual Business and Economic Development Awards.
The recipients include Mori Seiki Manufacturing, recognized for its business contributions to local economic development, and John Natsoulas, recognized for his extended excellence in contributions.
The award ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the Community Chambers at City Hall, 23 Russell Blvd. in Davis. A short reception will follow.
The city of Davis established the annual Business and Economic Development Awards to recognize outstanding local businesses, organizations or individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to their industry and community while strengthening the city’s business and economic development climate.
The Business and Economic Development Commission solicits nominations from the community, and then recommends finalists to the council.
Mori Seiki and Natsoulas will be added to the business award recipients plaque displayed in City Hall.
