Fifth Street neighbors invited to talk about city plans
The city of Davis is sponsoring traffic-calming discussions for the residential neighborhoods adjacent to the Fifth Street corridor. The city’s consultants, KD Anderson and Alta Planning + Design, will meet with neighbors Saturday and identify potential solutions to neighborhood traffic problems.
The consultants will meet with residents, walk through the neighborhoods to view specific areas of concern, then work together to explore possibilities for improvements.
The meetings are scheduled as follows:
* Old East Davis: 8:30 to 10:30 am, beginning in the common room at the Cornucopia Co-op, Third and J streets.
* Old North Davis: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., beginning at the Senior Center multipurpose room, 646 A St.
* A Street, Civic Center, University Avenue: 2 to 4 p.m., beginning at the Senior Center multipurpose room, 646 A St.
