I appreciate Mr. Buck's effort to reach out to the neighbors and include their input to make this business opportunity successful. As a participant at last Saturday's meeting, John Buck answered all their questions, and compassionately listened to the neighbors concerns. Unfortunately, this article does not reference that this meeting addressed the questions posed in the article. Their concerns are important and a doggy day care is a great idea. I hope the neighbors work collaboratively with John and the city to approve a permit.

I believe the research that Tom Sakash did on this story is good. There is very little if any support from the neighborhood for this kennel to be allowed to open. Considering that it is our neighborhood that would be affected by barking dogs, and the smell and the floating hair, not to mention just having so many dogs on a small property. There are other sites that would be better for all concerned, including the dogs. A site with a large open space, that the dogs could run and bark without disturbing the peace and quiet of neighbors. I believe as all of my neighbors that ( I street) is not the best location for this business. The owners need to look elsewhere to put their kennel. An industrial zone, or out in the country.
