The city of Davis Community Services Department invites interested residents to provide input on the final design for a Community Pool complex at a workshop from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St.
This design workshop will be the third in a series of community input meetings being conducted by the Community Services Department and Randy Mendioroz of the Aquatic Design Group. Input will be incorporated into the draft of the feasibility study, which will provide information to evaluate the cost-benefit analysis for planning, constructing and operating a new 50-meter competitive pool complex, or that of a multiuse, recreational complex at Community Park.
The feasibility study is designed to provide the Recreation and Parks Commission and the Davis City Council with more detailed information as the city makes its final determination on the future of Community Pool and other city-operated aquatic facilities.
