Co-op donates wine-tasting funds to SADVC

By From page A3 | April 05, 2013

The Davis Food Co-op, 620 G St. in downtown Davis, announces a donation of $1,319 to the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Center. The donation is the result of wine tastings held at the store in January, February and March.

SADVC served more than 2,050 survivors of violence in 2011. Its mission is to eliminate sexual assault and domestic violence through sensitive prevention, intervention and treatment.

Even very small donations can provide help — $24 provides one night of shelter for a victim of domestic violence.
