Community input sought on health issues

By From page A3 | August 16, 2013

Healthy Yolo will host its second Community Open House event from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Yolo County Fair in Woodland.

The Community Open House events include a walkthrough “tour” of the health status in Yolo County. Community members can then prioritize health issues important to them, express their views on their quality of life and identify strengths that can be used to improve the health of our community.

The information gathered will help identify and prioritize community health issues and support the development of a strategic plan to address those issues to improve the health and well-being of all Yolo County residents. Participants will receive a free reusable tote bag and be entered in a raffle to win a $50 gift card upon completing a survey.
