Georgeanne Brennan and Ann Evans, co-authors of the forthcoming “Davis Farmers Market Cookbook,” will speak Sunday and share sparkling wine and holiday appetizers from the cookbook during a pre-book launch party at The Avid Reader.
The event will run from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the bookstore, 617 Second St. in downtown Davis.
Brennan and Evans, who also are co-leaders of Slow Food Yolo, will talk with guests about the origins of the book, the experience of writing it and, of course, the recipes. Gift certificates for the book will be available.
