Country concert raises funds to support Woodland coaches

The Woodland Schools Foundation and 101.9 The Wolf will present a fundraising concert dubbed “Country for Coaches” on Friday, June 1. The event features country star Kip Moore (“Something ‘bout a Truck”), American Idol finalist Bucky Covington, Due West and Jon Pardi.

It starts at 6 p.m. at the Yolo County Fairgrounds on Gum Avenue in Woodland.

The benefit concert will raise funds to support seventh- through 12th-grade athletic coaches in the Woodland Joint Unified School District.

Tickets are $20 per person and are available at the Yolo County Fairgrounds box office, 1125 East St.; Woodland High School, 21 N. West St.; and Pioneer High School, 1400 Pioneer Ave.; as well as online at www.country4coaches.com or www.brownpapertickets.com.
