By From page A3 | April 21, 2013

Landscape designer Tara Watt and metalworker Roger Madison will open their Davis garden for public viewing on Saturday and Sunday, May 4-5, from noon to 5 p.m. Visitors will be encouraged to explore the garden paths and relax on the informal, rock seating to enjoy the floral display and to get a sense of how the couple have transformed their yard into a series of intimate spaces that maximize outdoor living.

Plant enthusiasts will delight in the vast array of blooming perennials, and garden lovers will enjoy the natural stonework the couple have used for casual seating and pool decking, as well as Madison’s custom metal pieces and Watt’s whimsical ceramics.

There is no charge for the tours at 1116 Dartmouth Place in Davis. Parking will be available only on the street, and consideration for neighbors is appreciated. For a map and more information, visit www.tarawattdesign.com.
