Only a few days — and just 30 tickets — remain for the Davis Rebekah Lodge’s second annual Crab Feed, planned for Saturday, Feb. 2, at 5:30 p.m. at the Davis Odd Fellows Hall, 415 Second St. in downtown Davis. The crab feed is a charitable fundraiser, open to the general public.
“If you like crab, this is the place,” said Noble Grand Lea Rosenberg. “Our first crab feed last year was such a success, we thought we’d better do it again. Many people told us it was the best crab ever.”
Tickets are $40 each and are available only at Avid Reader Active bookstore, 605 Second St. The event sold out last year.
The menu features fresh cracked crab, pasta, salad, bread and drawn butter. A no-host bar will be open all evening while guests bid on silent auction items and win raffle prizes, including a 24-bottle wine locker stocked with fine wines.
All proceeds will be used for the benefit of at-risk and foster youths in the Davis community.
