By From page A2 | November 25, 2012

A 41-year-old Woodland man was hospitalized early Friday after crashing his vehicle into a tree on East Eighth Street in Davis, police said.

Adrian Tucker was traveling westbound shortly after 3 a.m. when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel, veered off the roadway and hit the tree, Davis police Sgt. Mike Munoz said. Tucker was transported to the UC Davis Medical Center for treatment of facial injuries and chest pains.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and there were no passengers in the car, Munoz said.
