A 31-year-old Winters man faces drunken-driving charges after rolling his truck off Highway 113 near Davis on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Joshua Lee Badding was driving his Chevy pickup northbound near County Road 31 at about 9 a.m. when he crossed into the center median, causing the truck to roll. Badding was taken to the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento with complaints of pain to his head, neck and chest.
CHP officers interviewed Badding at the hospital and determined he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, Officer Bryan Konvalin said. He was released to the hospital due to his injuries, but Konvalin said the CHP will request that DUI charges be filed against him.
