By From page A3 | January 27, 2013

A 17-year-old Woodland Polytechnic Academy student was arrested on Friday on suspicion of possessing a 3-inch knife and a spring-activated BB gun on school grounds.

Administrators searched the boy’s backpack after getting wind of a rumor that he had threatened to hurt another student. A Yolo County Sheriff’s deputy later transported the boy to juvenile hall.

An investigation of the alleged threats is ongoing.
