Crews battle grass fire near Davis

By From page A2 | July 31, 2014

A tractor cutting weeds may have been the cause of a half-acre grass fire that Davis firefighters battled Wednesday afternoon.

Davis Fire Department Division Chief Bruce Fry said the blaze broke out at about 4 p.m. along County Road 32A east of Mace Boulevard.

Other than burned roadside grass, there were no losses or injuries reported.
