A bicyclist was hospitalized Wednesday evening after colliding with a car near Eighth and B streets, according to the Davis Police Department.

Lt. Glenn Glasgow said the driver, 24-year-old Antwanette Wiley of Davis, was traveling westbound on Eighth and failed to yield to the eastbound bicyclist as she made a left turn onto B Street.

The cyclist, Davis resident Ryan Wall, 23, was taken to Sutter Davis Hospital with minor injuries following the 5:30 p.m. collision, Glasgow said.
