By From page A10 | March 03, 2013

Police on Friday arrested 27-year-old Brenton Dumas of Davis on suspicion of possessing marijuana with intent to sell and carrying a concealed weapon.

According to Sgt. Mike Munoz, just after 8 p.m., officers came across Dumas while conducting an extra patrol in the area of the bike tunnel behind Davis Commons because of recent vandalism. When they searched him, they found a total of 5.6 ounces of pot in separate containers and a fixed-blade knife.

Dumas also was arrested on suspicion of possessing more than one ounce of marijuana and possession of concentrated cannabis.

Munoz said police haven’t determined whether Dumas had anything to do with the vandalism.
