Davis man caught with meth, stun gun

A Davis man was arrested Monday after police found him in possession of methamphetamine, hydrocodone and several illegal weapons.

At about 2:15 p.m. at the 1800 block of E. Eighth Street an officer observed Gary Rayshel Jr., 35, attempt to conceal property he was carrying after he spotted the officer. After contacting Rayshel, the officer discovered that the suspect was in possession of the illegal narcotics, a stun gun and an illegal, edged weapon.

Based on the amount of methamphetamine on him, Rayshel was arrested for possessing narcotics with the intent to distribute, possession of a second illegal substance for the hydrocodone, as well as a felon in possession of a stun gun and possession of an illegal weapon.

Rayshel was lodged at Yolo County Jail.
